day 6

We started our day off at the Microsoft experience center. I really enjoyed this because it was a hands on experience. We got to learn about all the new technology. The first thing we went to was the virtual car for Nissan. I thought this was so cool because with body movements the car responds to you as if you were infront of the actual car. I think the technology was called biometrics or something like that. I think this could completely change the way we purchase things in the future. With the same technology, they also have a virtual dressing room! Not only does it dress you but it takes your measurements in a very detailed way. These measurements can make your shopping experience so much easier! It can make online shopping much easier and because you are able to see what the outfit looks like on you, I think return rates would decrease.  I also thought enjoyed learning about the Nokia phones because Nokia completely missed the smart phone era and its nice to see them coming back with an awesome phone! I thought some of the features were much cooler than some features the iphone has and to compete with the iphone, they need to be bigger and better.
After our tour around the experience center, I asked a few questions and gave a guy my business card, the same guy I ended up going to dinner with that same night! I would LOVE to intern for microsoft in seattle, so I made a BIG effort in impressing them!

The seminar I went to was a waste of my time. It was hosted by GREY and I was excited because I met a few people from GREY the day before. I was very disappointed because there was NO content, just BLONDIE talking and singing. They guy conducting the interview pretty much just talked about himself and blondie sang.
